Mayors Mentoring Initiative for Mentoring Awareness Month in January

The Oklahoma Municipal League and the Mayors Council of Oklahoma are partnering with Mentor4OK to encourage mayors to support their local mentoring programs by honoring mentors throughout Mentoring Awareness Month held in January 2023.

Mayors Honoring Mentors was established to recognize outstanding mentors who have made significant contributions to their community through mentoring. 

Mayors are supporting quality mentoring initiatives, mobilizing their communities, and better equipping residents to succeed in work, school, and life. 

The honorees will be presented with a certificate and an announcement will be sent to the media so that the recipient will receive statewide recognition.
