Line Maintenance Personnel
The Broken Bow Public Works Authority is accepting applications for the position of Line Maintenance Personnel. This position reports to the Public Works Director and indirectly to the City Manager. Candidate is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the city's wastewater treatment facility to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Duties Include:
•Install, repair, and maintain water lines, valves, and hydrants.
•Locate and repair leaks in the water distribution system.
•Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on water infrastructure.
•Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles used in water line work.
•Follow safety regulations and procedures to protect public health and worker safety.
•Respond to emergency calls, including after-hours and weekend shifts as needed.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED required.
•Valid Oklahoma driver’s license required (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain).
•Experience in water line maintenance, plumbing, or construction preferred.
•Knowledge of water distribution systems, pipe fitting, and repair techniques is a plus.
•Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
•Strong teamwork and communication skills.
