Duties include install, change, transfer, move and remove poles, pole line hardware, guys, transformers, lightning arresters, streetlight equipment, energized conductors, insulators, conduit, capacitor bank controls and any and all forms of electrical material and accessories utilized in the construction, maintenance, and operation of electric circuits. Requirements include: Journeyman certification, Class B CDL, high school graduate/GED, and ability to work in physically demanding conditions and unfavorable weather conditions while handling dangerous equipment. Successful applicant must be able to work nights, holidays, weekends, and emergencies. Twenty minute emergency response time preferred.
