Employment Roster Update Instructions
YM is an online platform that is built for non-profits, associations and other membership-based organizations that are seeking to increase member engagement and improve staff efficiency. Among other features, YM will allow our membership to register for events, educational workshops and conferences in addition to creating greater engagement among communities.
OML needs your assistance: This year, instead of OML sending you a printed roster for editing, we need your assistance in making these edits in the YM platform. We are asking that you or an appointed staff member help us get your membership roster information, such as name/title, phone numbers, email address, etc. up to date by performing the following steps in YM.
The information that you provide is very important as it helps us to update not only our directory publication, but our email and direct mail databases.
We have strived to make the necessary steps as easy to understand as possible, but, if you need any assistance, we have an OML staff person on hand to assist. Steps to take to review and make edits to your community’s staff roster:
I. Log in to YM:
Go to https://oml.site-ym.com/Login.aspx. This is the page that you will use to sign into YM.
You will receive a follow-up email entitled ‘Welcome’ from Your Messenger on behalf of OML. This email will contain your username and a link to use to set your password for the first time you log in. If you do not receive a “Welcome” email within an hour or two, please email: ashley@oml.org.
Note: The username sent in the welcome email has been assigned to your municipality as the “Master account” for your municipality. Each municipal employee is a “Sub account”
Once you have entered your username and password that has been sent to you in the ‘Welcome’ email, please click ‘Sign In.’
II. How to access your employee list:
Once you have logged in and click ‘Sign In’, you will see your dashboard (example below).
Click on the Information and Settings tab on the left of your dashboard as seen below.
Click on the Sub-accounts tab.
Scroll down to see your employee list. (These are called sub-accounts. The Municipality is the master account, and the employees are the sub-accounts.) See graphic below.
III. How to edit the content for employees:
On the graphic below, you will see a set of icons in the ‘Options’ column
Contained in that category are 5 unique editing tools:
The first icon: Edit This Member’s Bio: Used to edit staff information’s bio. This option allows you to change name, title, contact information, etc.
The second icon: Delete This Member’s Account: This option allows you to disconnect the staff member’s account from the municipality’s master account.
The third icon: Suspend this member’s account: This option allows you to temporarily suspend the staff member’s account on YM.
The fourth icon: View this member’s profile: This option allows you to view the profile information entered into YM for that staff member.
The fifth icon: Sign-in as this member: This allows you to sign into YM as the staff person.
V. How to add new staff member profile information:
We have created an online form for you to add staff members to the OML YourMembership database. The form is located here. https://fs12.formsite.com/cchristo/fmr5fzmtxl/index.html
Please fill out the form for each staff member that you would like to add to your roster. We will import them into the database and link them to your account.
