OML is proud to present the OML Podcast, a weekly presentation focusing on interesting people talking about important topics that impact our Oklahoma cities and towns.

The podcast will be hosted by OML Executive Director, Mike Fina. Each podcast will be approximately 30 minutes in length.

The TSET is achieving milestones in health through its tobacco prevention and wellness initiatives. A recent report showed that its five-year Healthy Living Program initiative invested in 47 community groups partnering with more than 2,000 local organizations, schools, businesses and municipal governments throughout Oklahoma.

The January 1, 2021 enrollment for the Municipal Health Solutions (MHS) is currently underway. Over the last few years, it has become increasingly clear that Oklahoma cities and towns, like those across the country, are facing rising healthcare costs that present challenges to fiscal responsibility and competitive benefits.

Recently we were approached by a group led by Bob Stoops to help promote a COVID-19 sanitization product that they believe will be helpful to municipalities. Coach Stoops involvement in the project is what he describes as a “passion project,” to help during our state’s time of crisis.

Ardmore City Manager, JD Spohn will serve as President of the Oklahoma Municipal League’s (OML) Board of Directors for the 2020-21 term.
