January 1, 2021 Municipal Health Solutions Enrollment Underway

Oklahoma City, OK – The January 1, 2021 enrollment for the Municipal Health Solutions (MHS) is currently underway. Over the last few years, it has become increasingly clear that Oklahoma cities and towns, like those across the country, are facing rising healthcare costs that present challenges to fiscal responsibility and competitive benefits.

To address these challenges, municipal professionals from communities around the state gathered to develop and oversee a potential solution to spiraling medical insurance costs: Municipal Health Solutions (MHS).

MHS is a benefits program offered to Oklahoma municipalities with the express goal of stabilizing insurance rates for members. This plan can be offered along with a comprehensive suite of dental and vision benefits for staff and officials, as well as voluntary benefits, and more.  In addition, three of the MHS design plans are Insure Oklahoma eligible.

With the January 1, 2021 roll-out quickly approaching, Plan Administrator, Nancee Morris, said that the MHS team is busy preparing quotes and conducting meetings with cities and towns to discuss what plans will best serve their employees.

If you are interested in learning more about the MHS plans, please visit the website at www.mhsok.org or contact Nancee Morris at 405.528.7515 or 1.800.324.7515 or email:nancee@oml.org
