Oklahoma Municipal League Announces Staff Promotions

The Oklahoma Municipal League is proud to announce that Christian Rinehart has been named Deputy General Counsel and Megan Buchanan as Associate General Counsel.

"We are thrilled to announce that Christian has been promoted to Deputy General Counsel, and Megan has been named Associate General Counsel," said Mike Fina, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Municipal League. "Our legal team works with cities and towns of all sizes from across the State of Oklahoma on a daily basis on inquiries including complex municipal legal issues such as those regarding the American Rescue Plan Act. They are also an integral part of the legislative team." 

Rinehart is a fourth-generation attorney who hails from El Reno, Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma State University and then received his Juris Doctorate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law.

Buchanan is originally from Antlers, Oklahoma and played college golf while obtaining her undergraduate degree before graduating from the Oklahoma City University School of Law with her Juris Doctorate.
