Oklahoma Municipal League Announces Community Leadership Development Class 11 Participants

The Oklahoma Municipal League welcomed the newest class of Community Leadership Development (CLD) at the kick-off event in Enid.

 CLD Class 11 consists of elected leaders and municipal professionals from across the State of Oklahoma.  CLD is a year-long training program that provides educational opportunities for municipal leaders and is directed at issues that municipalities face on a daily basis.

 “This is an outstanding class of municipal leaders,” said Mike Fina, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Municipal League. “CLD takes the best of the best municipal government has to offer and trains them to become more effective leaders. The program provides opportunities to learn from other communities and develop relationships and resources that can help these leaders grow their municipalities.”

 The members of the Community Leadership Development Class 11 are:

 CLD consists of six sessions held across the State of Oklahoma.  In addition to Enid, the class will also travel to Chickasha, Guymon, Tahlequah, Broken Arrow and graduation will be held at the OML Annual Conference in Tulsa in September.
