Inhofe Holds Video Conference With Mayor's Council of Oklahoma
WASHINGTON – Yesterday, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) joined the Mayor’s Council of Oklahoma for a video conference to address the impact of COVID-19 and relief packages:
“I was very thankful to meet with 26 Oklahoma mayors yesterday to discuss how they each have handled the coronavirus response within their towns and cities,” said Inhofe. “The CARES Act included substantial resources for the State of Oklahoma and local governments. As Congress debates the next relief package, I wanted to hear from them directly about how that bill worked for their communities and how the next relief package can continue to address their needs. As a former Mayor, I am always grateful to work alongside these leaders and look forward to continuing to receive their input on behalf of the families, individuals and small businesses across our state.
